The Riverfront Sisowath Quay from Street 184 to Street 100

Bars and restaurants line the riverfront road and most are open all day and into the evening. It’s a great place for an early evening drink overlooking riverside. Most bars close up around midnight, but a couple of clubs and many of the bars on the side streets stay open well into the wee hours.

Street 308 and the Bassac Lane alleyways harbor a chic little enclave of must-try eclectic eateries and stylish micro-bars. The place-to-be after work but pretty sleepy after eleven. Most of the drinking venues in BKK1 are at the north end, many catering to travelers and expats. Half a dozen late bars line Street 278, including the traveler-popular Top Banana and the famously musical Zeppelin Bar . One block over Score Bar on Street 282 is one of the better sports bar in town.

Street 51 Street 51 between Streets 154 and 172

Late evening Street 51 becomes one of the hottest bar streets in town . Several hostess bars, a few neighborhood pubs, a couple of the town’s most popular clubs including Pontoon and Heart of Darkness, and a rather dire beergarden market, all busy until early morn. There are also plenty of late night food carts. Busy every night.

The couple of blocks of Street 172 behind Wat Ounalom has become a budget traveler area, picking up the slack from the old lake scene. Budget-minded bars and eateries line the street.

Streets 136, 130, 110, 104... Just off of Sisowath Quay, the riverfront

Several of the streets radiating off the riverfront road are bar streets in their own right. Streets 136 and 104 are packed solid with pubs, most of the hostess variety, but also a few neighborhood pubs and a couple of eateries as well.
